• Polyester: Commonly used for both the outer shell and lining, it’s durable, quick-drying, and resistant to wrinkling.
• Fleece (for lining): Provides added warmth and softness, making it comfortable against the skin.
• Cotton (for lining): Breathable and soft, ideal for inner linings, though it may be less effective at retaining warmth compared to synthetic materials.
• Down or Synthetic Insulation (for filling): For the filling, down is natural and provides excellent warmth-to-weight ratio, while synthetic insulation (like polyester fill) is a good alternative for water resistance and affordability.
